Mrs Alison Hine
Headteacher
Having previously been a Headteacher in a rural school and then Executive Headteacher across two schools, Mrs Hine brings a wealth of experience to the role. Her values and ethos align perfectly with The Trust’s belief that a happy school is a successful school and she will ensure that The Griffin Primary School and Little Griffin Nursery provide the very best education for your child. Mrs Hine is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Responsible Person for Looked After Children and Previously Looked After Children and SENCO.

Mr Tim Pouton
Nursery Teacher
Mr Pouton has spent his career working within the Early Years and his enthusiastic and nurturing approach, alongside his expert knowledge of the EYFS, will ensure that children at The Little Griffin Nursery make a great start to their educational journey.

Mrs Amanda Day
Early Years Educator
Mrs Day has a wide range of experience within nursery settings and brings an invaluable set of skills and knowledge to support the children at The Little Griffin Nursery to be the best they can be at all times. As a 'Time to Talk' and 'Wellcomm' trained practitioner, she is our Communication and language Champion.

Mrs Liesa Gough
Early Years Educator
Mrs Gough is a highly experienced Teaching Assistant who has also worked within both the Early Years and from Y1 - Y6. She also helps supervise at lunchtimes.

Mrs Amanda Fearns
Early Years Educator
Amanda has many years experience not only in the Early Years but also in supporting children with SEND in a 1:1 capacity across the entire Primary Phase. Her passion is for the Early Stages of children's development and her knowledge and expertise will ensure that all children feel settled and do their best.

Miss Melissa Mooney
Early Years Educator
Melissa has a background in Early Years, working in both Mainstream and Specialist SEND settings. She has an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and her calm, quiet approach supports all of our children to do their best.

Mrs Ina Colbasiuc
Apprentice Early Years Educator
Ina has worked as a Teaching Assistant in her home country and is very excited to use her skills to support the children at The Little Griffin Nursery.

Miss Maddie Byrne
Reception Teacher and Early Years Lead
Miss Byrne is an expert in all things Early Years and she will use this expertise to provide an excellent education for the Reception children, across all areas of the curriculum. She will oversee the provision in both the Nursery and Reception classes, working regularly with and leading the whole team to provide a consistently high quality experience for your children. Miss Byrne is also the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Mrs Hayley Cole
Reception Teaching Assistant
Mrs Cole has worked within Reception classes and Nursery classes throughout her career. This means that she has accrued a vast wealth of knowledge and her positive attitude and encouragement of the children will support them to grow in their academic, social and independent skills so that they are ‘Happy, Kind and Confident’.

Mrs Marie Donnelly
Reception Teaching Assistant
During her career, Marie has worked with children from the age of 2 to 18! She is now returning to supporting pupils in the Early Years and we are thrilled to be working with her in our Reception class. She enjoys working with children of all abilities to help them be successful in their learning. Outside of school, she has a keen interest in animals (especially dogs - she has 4!) She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and loves nature and the outdoors.

Miss Niamh Barrow
Year 1 Teacher
Niamh has a creative background and she is keen to develop and support the creative arts in school. She really enjoys helping our children achieve their best and ensuring they are happy in what they do.

Miss Demi-Leigh Powell
Year 1 Teaching Assistant
Demi is really enthusiastic about making a difference to children's lives and supporting their early education. She is building her skill and knowledge and has completed an Apprenticeship in Early Years. In order to develop herself further, she is now completing a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Miss Alex Fitzpatrick
Year 2 Teacher
Alex has 5 years of teaching experience and is excited to be developing the English curriculum at The Griffin Primary. Her teaching style is creative, imaginative, and productive.

Miss Vicki Crossin
Year 2 Teaching Assistant
Vicki has successfully completed a level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship, gaining exceptional knowledge and experience across all key stages. She is eager to use this knowledge to help and support pupils throughout their journey at The Griffin.

Mrs Rachel Wright
Year 2 Teaching Assistant
Mrs Wright is highly experienced and is qualified as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. She has worked 1:1 with children who have additional needs, as well as supporting children across Key Stage 1 and 2 in their classes.

Mr Jed Martin
Teaching Assistant and Wraparound Supervisor
Mr Martin is undertaking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship and we are delighted to have him on our team. He has worked with children in his previous role and is looking forward to developing his skill within the classroom. He is a keen rugby player and really enjoys organising activities and helping children before and after school.

Mrs Claudie Patterson (SENCO)
SENCO
Claudie is a highly experienced SENCO. She is committed to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and to providing advice to staff. She also works with external experts and specialist support and provision as required, for the benefit of our pupils.

Mrs Kerry Tucker
Office Manager
Having previously worked in two school offices, one in a small village school and one in a large school, Mrs Tucker has the ideal experience to bring to The Griffin Primary School as it grows. She offers a warm welcome and efficient service to our families and community.

Mrs Kirsten Isaac's
Administrative Assistant
Mrs Isaac's has a wealth of experience in an administrative role and her expertise and welcoming manner are perfect for this role.

Mrs Jenny Harrison
Nursery Administrative Assistant
Mrs Harrison works from 8.30-10.30am to be able to support parents and answer any questions they may have relating to the nursery. She works alongside Mrs Tucker and Mrs Isaac's in the main office.

Mrs Claire Evans-Hare
Midday Supervisor
Mrs Evans-Hare has been a Midday Supervisor for many years, supporting children to have a safe and enjoyable lunchtime. She is very approachable and really enjoys encouraging children to eat healthily and helping develop their play and social skills out on the playground.

Mrs Lorraine Cartledge
Midday Supervisor and Cleaner
Lorraine really enjoys helping the children at lunchtime to eat well and play well. Her bubbly personality always shines through! With her cleaning, she takes great pride in making sure the school looks amazing and is a clean and safe place to be.

Mr Karl Hine
Caretaker
Mr Hine is keen to use his skills to ensure that the school is safe and always in fantastic condition for the children, staff and families of The Griffin.

Mr Greg Stalmach
Cleaner
Mr Stalmach takes enormous pride in ensuring that the school is safe and clean for the children and staff of The Griffin Primary. He works to a very high standard and always does this with a cheerful disposition.

Mrs Dawn Carruthers
Cleaner
Dawn displays a real sense of pride in the school and ensuring it is clean, tidy and safe for everyone who uses it. She works incredibly hard alongside Greg, our other cleaner.

Mrs Alex Grove
School Cook
Alex works for Alliance in Partnership (AiP) who are our school meal providers. She is a superb cook, preparing delicious meals on-site each day. She prides herself on knowing the children and keeping her kitchen at a 5 star level.
