  • Mrs Alison Hine

    Headteacher (DSL)

    Having previously been a Headteacher in a rural school and then Executive Headteacher across two schools, Mrs Hine brings a wealth of experience to the role.

  • Mr Tim Pouton

    Nursery Teacher (DSL)

    Mr Pouton's career has been in the Early Years. Enthusiastic and nurturing, his expert knowledge ensures that children make a great start to their education.

  • Mrs Amanda Day

    Early Years Educator

    Mrs Day has a wide range of experience and brings an invaluable set of skills and knowledge to support our children to be the best they can be.

  • Mrs Liesa Gough

    Early Years Educator

    Mrs Gough is a highly experienced Teaching Assistant who has also worked within both the Early Years and from Y1 - Y6. She also helps supervise at lunchtimes. 

  • Mrs Amanda Fearns

    Early Years Educator

    Mrs Fearns has many years' experience in the Early Years. Her passion, knowledge and expertise ensure that all children feel settled and do their best.

  • Miss Melissa Mooney

    Early Years Educator

    Miss Mooney has a background in Early Years, in Mainstream and Specialist settings. Her excellent knowledge and her calm, quiet approach support all of our children to do their best.

  • Mrs Ina Colbasiuc

    Apprentice Early Years Educator

    Mrs Colbasiuc (Miss Ina) has worked as a Teaching Assistant in her home country and is very excited to use her skills to support children in our nursery.

  • Miss Maddie Byrne

    Reception Teacher and Early Years Lead

    Miss Byrne is an expert in the Early Years. She uses this expertise to provide an excellent education for the Reception children, across all areas of the curriculum.

  • Mrs Hayley Cole

    Reception Teaching Assistant

    Mrs Cole has worked in Early Years throughout her career. Her wealth of knowledge, and her positive and encouraging attitude, support children to grow in all areas.

  • Mrs Linda Hallam

    Reception Teaching Assistant

    Linda has a lot of experience of working with children of all ages. She particularly enjoys working in the EYFS and loves what she does!

  • Mrs Marie Donnelly

    Reception Teaching Assistant

    During her career, Marie has worked with children from the age of 2 to 18! She has returned to the Early Years and we are thrilled to be working with her in our Reception class.

  • Miss Niamh Barrow

    Year 1 Teacher

    Miss Barrow has a creative background and is keen to develop the creative arts in school. She enjoys helping children achieve their best and ensuring they are happy in what they do.

  • Miss Demi-Leigh Powell

    Year 1 Teaching Assistant

    Miss Powell is enthusiastic about making a difference to children's lives by supporting their education. She is completing a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship.

  • Miss Alana Crew-Gee

    Year 1 Teaching Assistant

    Miss Crew-Gee has a keen interest in SEND. Her knowledge, vast range of strategies and patient, calm approach ensure that our children make good progress.

  • Miss Alex Fitzpatrick

    Year 2 Teacher

    Miss Fitzpatrick has a creative and imaginative teaching style. She is keen to develop the English curriculum and to use her previous experience to help children flourish.

  • Miss Vicki Crossin

    Year 2 Teaching Assistant

    Miss Crossin is eager to use her previous experience and knowledge to help and support pupils throughout their journey at The Griffin.

  • Mrs Rachel Wright

    Year 2 Teaching Assistant

    Mrs Wright is highly experienced. She has worked 1:1 with children who have additional needs, as well as supporting all children in their classes.

  • Mr Jed Martin

    Teaching Assistant and Wraparound Supervisor

    Mr Martin has previously worked as a sports coach and is looking forward to developing his skill within the classroom. He enjoys organising wraparound care for our children.

  • Mrs Claudie Patterson (SENCO)

    SENCO

    Mrs Paterson is committed to supporting pupils with SEND and providing advice to staff. She works with external experts and specialists for the benefit of our pupils.

  • Mrs Kerry Tucker

    Office Manager

    Having previously worked in two school offices, Mrs Tucker has the ideal skills to bring to our school as it grows. She offers a warm welcome and efficient service to our families.

  • Mrs Kirsten Isaac's

    Administrative Assistant

    Mrs Isaac's has a wealth of experience in an administrative role and her expertise and welcoming manner are perfect for this role. 

  • Mrs Jenny Harrison

    Nursery Administrative Assistant

    Mrs Harrison works from 8.30-10.30am to be able to support parents and answer any questions they may have relating to the nursery.

  • Mrs Claire Evans-Hare

    Midday Supervisor

    Mrs Evans-Hare has been a Midday Supervisor for many years, supporting  children to have a safe and enjoyable lunchtime. She is approachable and enjoys helping children eat healthily.

  • Mrs Lorraine Cartledge

    Midday Supervisor and Cleaner

    Lorraine enjoys helping the children at lunchtime to eat and play well. Her bubbly personality always shines through! As a cleaner, she takes pride in ensuring the school looks amazing.

  • Mr Karl Hine

    Caretaker

    Mr Hine is keen to use his skills to ensure that the school is safe and always in fantastic condition for the children, staff and families of The Griffin.

  • Mr Greg Stalmach

    Cleaner

    Mr Stalmach takes pride in ensuring that the school is safe and clean for the children and staff. He works to a high standard and does this with a cheerful disposition.

  • Mrs Dawn Carruthers

    Cleaner

    Dawn displays a real sense of pride in the school and ensuring it is clean, tidy and safe for everyone who uses it. She works incredibly hard alongside Greg, our other cleaner.

  • Mrs Alex Grove

    School Cook

    Alex works for Alliance in Partnership (AiP). She is a superb cook, preparing delicious meals on-site each day. She prides herself on knowing the children and their dietary needs well.
