At The Little Griffin Nursery, children can be admitted at the start of the half term after they turn two or three years old. 

At The Little Griffin Nursery, we offer funded sessions for 15 or 30 hours across the school week for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.                 

15 hour Provision

The 15 hour provision is Monday - Friday mornings (08:45-11:45) or Monday - Friday afternoons (12:30-15:30)

30 hour Provision

The 30 hour provision is Monday - Friday (08:45-14:45)

Extended Day Session

We also offer an extended day session from 14.45-15.30, which is parent-funded. 

Once all spaces have been allocated, additional parent-funded hours can be requested, if available. Please note that we reserve the right to review and amend our fees for the parent-funded sessions on an annual basis. A minimum of a month's notice will be given if fees change. 

Wraparound Care

Children who are 3 years old or above can attend wraparound care. Please see the wraparound section of the website for further information. 

Meals 

We ask that 2 year olds bring a healthy packed lunch from home if they are staying for full days. Once children turn 3 years old, they may be able to join the older children in the school hall and have a cooked meal if they wish. This is decided on a case-by-case basis, depending on whether we feel your child is ready for this step. 

3 and 4 year old can choose between bringing a healthy packed lunch or selecting a cooked meal. They will eat in the school hall. If you choose a cooked meal option, we ask for a voluntary contribution of £2.50          to cover the cost of the meal. 

To apply for a Nursery place at The Griffin Primary School, for the academic year 2025/26 or 2026/27, please complete and submit the application form below and either email it to admin2072@welearn365.com, post it to the school or bring it into the office in person.

We will also need to see proof of address and your child's original birth certificate or passport. 

If you need a paper copy of the form, please feel free to collect one from Mrs Tucker or Mrs Isaac's in the school office.

Oversubscription

Places will be offered in accordance with the oversubscription criteria, as stated in our Nursery Admissions Information document.

Please note, the final date for 2026/27 applications is 31st January 2026 to start in September 2026.
